Support A New Mom With Asylum Appeal

We are writing today to ask your financial support for a member of our community, A.
A is an asylum seeker who fled violence in her home country. A is also a new mother: this weekend, she welcomed her first child, a beautiful and healthy baby.
Unfortunately, A's asylum claim was recently denied. She has until mid-December to appeal the denial. This will cost $710 in application and lawyer's fees. Currently, her access to social support as an asylee is limited, as are her financial resources.
This is an opportunity to support an asylum seeker who is suffering because of the unjust and traumatizing immigration laws that we have in this country.
