After many years of struggle, studying, and stamina, I have finally been blessed to receive my Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from Meharry Medical College School of Dentistry in April 2025. Nearly 13 years of time to be awarded this skill. Words cannot express how blessed I feel and how grateful I am to share this with each of you.

To make things even better, I have been selected into a Hospital Dental General Practice Residency (GPR) at The Harlem Hospital Center in New York City, New York. This hospital has a very prestigious history and a unique program to train dentists alongside the total care of medically compromised patients and medical specialists such as Anesthesiologists, Oral/Plastic Surgeons, Internal Medicine Physicians, and Pediatricians, just to name a few. Because of the annual admission acceptance cycle of the program (July and October each year), I will begin this program on October 1, 2025. I have attached my offer letter, program information and some photos, just for context and clarity.

This is a big move for me and requires such a short period of time to happen. I have a myriad of expenses for an apartment, some equipment needed for program, and to travel nearly 1200 miles to further my dream as a Dentist.
