Hi, I'm Elizabeth.

My Story:

In 2016, two days after the November election, I lost my job — they changed my duties, and I could no longer fulfill them due to my severe dyscalculia (more on that here).

I applied to every job I could reasonably do, even dishwashing, to no avail. So I moved in with my mom in St. Louis hoping to find something there.

And then COVID happened. Every penny of my savings slowly drained away.

The pandemic, Mom’s health emergency in 2020, and losing Dad unexpectedly in 2022, on top of all the constant rejection and interview ghosting have been the literal worst. I almost gave up.

After six years, almost 700 applications, earning a project management certification while taking care of my mom, and a plethora of interviews that went nowhere, a good company hired me. I can finally see a future again.

The Goal:

I have an apartment. I have a moving pod scheduled. My work set a deadline of May 1 for me to be in the Boston office. The pod leaves St. Louis on April 18, so there's not much time!

There's one more book to finish in my trilogy and after that, something I want to work on is outlined and ready. This move is a complete life reboot, and it's just the creative boost I need.

My last paycheck of April is reserved for May's rent. Now all I need is a little help getting my belongings there. Just one more hurdle!
