Hi! My name is ReHanna, I'm neighbors with Katherine and John. Last night, John's van was stolen from right in front of the apartment on El Camino Real and Main Street. Everything they own for their handyman business was in there. Today, the van was found in Oakland and returned to John. Sadly, every piece of handyman equipment was stolen in addition to damage to the vehicle (i.e., ignition broken, back doors jammed). He devoted years to building his clientele for home repairs and relied on the van and equipment for his family's livelihood. This family gives to their community in so many ways, from voluntarily tucking away my packages so they don't get stolen, to driving around town to feed stray animals. There is never a time they turn away a neighbor in need. John and Katherine have pending medical bills and simply want to earn an honest living amid rising costs in the bay area. Without this van and equipment, they will not survive. With the many ways this family has cared for their community and has set an example for honest work, let's help them remember that they are not forgotten in times of crisis! These donations will be used to replace John's work equipment ($5000), repair his van ($2400), and the cost of towing ($400). Any amount is graciously appreciated.
