Last night (3.11.26) my friend, Sam, and her 2 children, aged just 5 and 4, were settling down after eating tea.
Sam put the kids in their PJ'S, washed the dishes.......put a load of washing in the tumble dryer and went to chill with the kids in the living room.
Less than 20 minutes later the kitchen was on fire.
In a matter of moments, the security and stability she has worked so hard to provide for her family was taken away.
She is now facing the heartbreaking reality of having lost her home and needing somewhere safe to stay so she can begin to rebuild her life.
One of her children is autistic, which makes having a safe, familiar and stable environment particularly important.
The children have lived in Northop Hall for all of their lives and attend Northop Hall Primary school.
It is our priority to keep Sam's Autistic little boys distress as minimal as possible.
Sadly, this tragedy has come at an already incredibly difficult time.
Just a week before the fire, Sam's failed its MOT, leaving her without transport.
This means she is now struggling not only to get to work and maintain her income, but also to travel to see her children, who are currently staying with their dad.
She has lost so much in such a short space of time, and the challenges ahead are enormous.
Following a conversation with Sam I have asked her permission to set this GoFundMe up.
I would love to raise funds to help buy her a new car so that she can continue to work and ensure her children can attend school.
Nobody should have to face so much hardship at once, especially a mum trying her very best to provide for her children.
Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. If you cannot donate, please consider sharing this appeal.
Every little bit of kindness will help this family take another step towards rebuilding their lives.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, generosity and support.
This is only temporary Sam, we've got you babe ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
