Help a mother spend final days with her daughters
Donation protected
I am making this on behalf of my dear friend Karli; her sweet mother, Deana; and Karli’s younger sister, Madi.
Karli’s mom, Deana has terminal peritoneal ovarian cancer and has been placed on Hospice. Karli is 24 and Madi is 20. They are far too young to lose their mother!
They have given Deana LESS THAN A MONTH!!! All Deana has to live on is a disability check, Karli has relocated from Kansas City, MS to be her mom’s primary care taker. She has attempted to get paid through Medicaid for doing so, however, they have denied her due to the fact that Deana owns her home and car (both of which she is still paying on with her disability check). So Karli is stuck unable to work, as she is caring for Deana full time, with no income.
Madi has her own apartment, so she hasn’t been able to spend as much time with her mom as she needs, because taking off work would mean she would fall behind on her finances. Karli would love to be able to help Madi take time off of work and not have to worry about falling behind on her bills.
Not that anyone should ever have to face this, but they are so young. It’s unfathomable to me what these girls are going through. Please, find it your heart to help them.
All Karli and Madi want is more time with their mother. And you can give that to them. Every dollar you’d donate would go to helping Karli, Deana and, Madi spend Deana’s last days together.
Please, if you can help this sweet family when they need it the most, I know that they would forever be grateful. I cannot stress to you how urgent this is as time is of the fact essence.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read. If you are unable to donate, please share their story.
