Help a Local Mom in Need

Dear Friends,

A member of our community is facing an incredibly frightening time right now, and a few of us mothers in the greater neighborhood wish to do everything in our power to help.

Our friend and neighbor is a stay-at-home mother and is experiencing emotional and extreme financial abuse at the hands of her husband.

The parties are in the midst of a divorce, but the husband has strategically and methodically siphoned marital funds and cut off his wife, leaving her with no money. She has had to plead for enough of an "allowance" to buy groceries for the children. The husband comes from means and has every resource at his fingertips, while the wife is not from the U.S., has no family here, and cannot afford to retain divorce counsel. We are seeking contributions towards her legal fees and potentially food for herself and her kids.

She needs representation, and despite calling all over the county in search of less expensive options, it comes at a very high cost.
