I am a social worker. And a mother. And a partner. And my livelihood was taken away from me because of strangers filled with hate.

On September 10th, images were taken from my personal social media account and picked up by right wing influencers, who decided to doxx me - posting my home address, my employer, and other personal details all over twitter. Those posts went viral, fueled by the hatred and vitriol spilled by the heinous ‘Libs of Tiktok’ account, who have made it their sole mission to destroy people’s lives that don’t agree with their racist, fascist, right wing MAGA agenda. People threatened my life, my family’s life, and swarmed the social media accounts of my employer.

Instead of supporting me, my employer decided to terminate me, effective immediately - leaving myself and my 11 month old son without health insurance, and my household without an income.

While I am diligently looking for new work, my family has no savings put aside to deal with something as shocking as this. My partner does the best he can to support us, but we are looking at having to pay for COBRA coverage so myself and my son can continue having insurance, which I’m sure many of you know is insanely expensive.

Any amount helps, and as guilty as I feel about having to do this; I know we have a community of people behind us that I have immense gratitude for. As soon as I’m able, I would love to buy all of you a drink.

I know this is a temporary setback and that I will come back stronger. It has just tested my ability to cope and has shattered me and my entire worldview. My son is my priority, my entire world - and making sure we can provide for him is all that matters to me.
