We are asking for help to bring a mother to her son in his final days.
Our family is walking through an incredibly painful and urgent time.
Joey, is critically ill in California and is now facing the end of his life. His condition has worsened to the point where he will not survive with his current liver, and he is not a candidate for a transplant. We know time is limited.
By God’s grace, there has been a small but meaningful breakthrough. Joey is no longer in a coma amd breathing on his own. He is awake and aware. He recently shared a video call with me where he became emotional and said he didn’t want to die, especially alone.
That moment, though heartbreaking, was also a gift. It reminded us how important it is for us to be together in person.
I need to be by his side, not only as his mom, but as his advocate. As decisions about palliative and hospice care approach, it is so important that I am there to support him, speak for him when needed, and help ensure his wishes are honored. Most of all, he deserve the chance to hold his mother's hand, for her to speak to him in person., and love him through these final moments.
We are raising funds to help cover the cost of urgent travel to California from NY, transportation, and basic accommodations while I remain there with him.
If you feel led to support, whether through donating or sharing, our family would be deeply grateful. If you are someone who prays, we ask you to continue lifting Joey up for strength, peace, comfort, and for a smooth transition.
Thank you for standing
with our family during this time. Every bit of support, love, and prayer means more than we can express. ❤️
