Dear Friends and Family,

I am reaching out to share some difficult news about my sister. on May 19, 2025 , My sister was rushed to Ocala Regional Medical Center as a trauma alert following a dog attack and had to undergo emergency surgery.

Thankfully, she is doing better, but she is still in a lot of pain and is unable to put any weight on her right leg. This means she will be out of work for an extended period. As a mother of four and a full-time nurse, she is always helping others and never asks for anything for herself. Now, I'm hoping we can come together to help her pay her bills while she is unable to work. She has worked incredibly hard to build her life, and we don't want her to lose everything because of this unexpected tragedy.

Yesterday, May 20th, my mom took her to the doctor because she was still experiencing pain, and the area on her leg was red and hot. They determined that the leg is infected. She was transported back to Ocala Regional Medical Center, admitted, and started on strong antibiotics and pain medication.

Today, May 21st, the surgeon came in and expressed concerns about the previous surgery. They are planning to take her back into surgery to clean out the infection and will leave the wound open.

I will keep you updated as I receive more information.
