Help a Mother & Grandmother Fight Stage 4 Melanoma

HELP A LOVING MOTHER OF 4, GRANDMOTHER OF 5, FIGHT STAGE 4 MELANOMA.

My name is Tony Douglas and I am reaching out on behalf of our incredible mother Sharon Wunsch-Valena. I represent all of Sharon's children, stepchildren, grandchildren & great-grandchildren in a plea for your much needed help and support in one the hardest times our family has ever faced. Some of you may know Sharon directly or know her through her children, stepchildren or grandchildren (Tony Douglas, Don Douglas, Alisha Douglas, Katlin Valena, Bill Valena, Jr., Celestine Valena, Renee Haroutunian, Victor Valena, Kayla Douglas, Cameron Douglas, Allison Douglas, Maddie Douglas).

Sharon’s (mom’s) recent Stage 4 Melanoma Diagnosis came directly on the heels of having lost our father in his battle with cancer only weeks before. To say that it has been a very trying time for this family, would be an understatement. Our mother received the initial diagnosis on Easter Sunday and has already had an extensive medical schedule and expenses to get to a final diagnosis. We are poised for the fight, the enemy has now been defined — but we need your help!!

Sharon is the heart of this family, a loving Mother and Grandmother. She has been a source of strength and kindness to all who know her. She has spent the entirety of her life in the service and care of others. It's time for us all to reciprocate and to demonstrate to her what that has meant.

We are asking for any amount, big or small, to ease the burden so she can focus on what matters most........Healing the cancer and spending times with her loved ones. Our goal, with your help, is to make the cancer the only battle she will have to contend with during this time.

Your contributions will go directly toward my mother's cancer treatments, including hospital visits, therapies, specialist visits, medical travel, her medications and supplements, and any related out-of-pocket costs. This will also cover her at home supportive care and some of her cost of living and bills, as she is now unable to work and the expenses are mounting at a horrific rate as I’m sure anyone can imagine. This will also cover familial travel to help care for her during her treatments and give her the support she will need in this trying process.
