Hi my name is Misty Garcia, daughter of Darlene Herrera. No parent should ever have to bury their child.

This past Friday 9/30/22 my only brother, my mother’s only son was murdered in downtown Portland. After an argument Anthony was stabbed in the back, that 1 puncture took his life.

Anthony just turned 40 in July.

He was a happy & kind man. His biggest wish was for this world to be happy and for us to care for each other.

Anthony had a huge heart and contagious smile that he wanted to spread across the world, no matter if you were his BFF or a complete stranger, he wanted you to SMILE and he would do anything in his power to make you crack a smile even if it was only for a second.

We are in need of help to put my brother to rest in a manner that he deserves. Our mother is an ill woman with lots of her own medical expenses and finances are tight.

Funds will be used for funeral services & either cremation or burial expenses.
