I never imagined I would have to make a post like this, but right now I am asking for help to protect my children.

Recently, my oldest child came home from his biological father’s house with visible injuries and told me he had been physically hurt. As a mother, there are no words to describe the fear and heartbreak of hearing your child say those things and seeing injuries on their body.

Since bringing him safely home, I have done everything I possibly can to protect my children and follow the proper steps. I have sought medical attention, documented injuries, contacted the appropriate agencies, and followed every recommendation given to me. Multiple professionals and agencies have advised me that I now need legal representation to properly fight for custody and ensure my children’s safety moving forward.

My family recently welcomed a new baby, and financially we are struggling to afford the legal costs this situation requires. I am not asking for revenge or anything beyond what every child deserves — safety, stability, love, and a home free from fear.
