Hello everyone,
My name is Chris and I am making this GoFundMe on behalf of my sister, Myeisha. Here is her story:
.
.
.
My name is Myeisha, and I am a medical student at Ross University School of Medicine with three amazing children. I have worked extremely hard to get this far in my education, but right now I am facing a financial barrier that may prevent me from continuing next semester.
My school requires that I either pay my outstanding balance of $8,079.39 or make a partial payment of $1,400 to even enter a payment plan. As a full-time medical student studying abroad, I am unable to work, and I rely on what I have saved and what my family can contribute. With the rising cost of living, caring for three children, covering their childcare/education, and keeping up with my own school expenses, I simply do not have the funds to meet this requirement in time.
Becoming a doctor has been my lifelong dream — not just for myself, but for my kids. I want them to see that even when life is difficult, dedication and perseverance can open doors. I have made it this far through hard work, sacrifice, and faith, and I am determined not to give up now.
I am asking for help to raise the $1,400 I need to set up the payment plan and secure my registration for next semester. Anything beyond that will go toward reducing my overall balance and easing the financial pressure on my family as I continue my studies.
Any amount — no matter how small — truly makes a difference. If you are unable to donate, a share of this fundraiser would help more than you know.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. Thank you for supporting a mother trying her best to create a better future. And thank you for believing in me.
With gratitude,
Myeisha
