A mother cat and her kittens were found in a parking area at Etihad Plaza in the UAE. When they were rescued, the mother was carrying parvovirus, a deadly and highly contagious disease.
Because the kittens were so young and unvaccinated, the virus spread quickly. Sadly, three of the kittens did not survive.
Only one tiny kitten remains, fighting to survive alongside his mother.
They have stayed in the veterinary clinic for weeks, receiving constant monitoring, IV fluids, medications, and tests. They are still under treatment as they recover.
Rescue doesn’t end at the clinic — often that’s when the real struggle begins. The care keeping this mother and her kitten alive has been intensive and expensive.
The veterinary bills have now reached 14,583.38 AED (around £3,100). For independent rescuers, this is a huge burden, but abandoning them was never an option.
This mother has already lost three of her babies. She is now holding on to the one who survived, doing everything she can to keep him safe.
If you can, please consider donating — even a small amount will go directly toward the medical care keeping them alive.
And if you’re unable to donate, sharing their story could help them reach someone who can.
Thank you for giving hope to this brave little family.
