Hey everyone, I am starting this go fund me for myself and my son. If any of you know me, you’ll know what it took for me to do this. I need help. Back in February I began seeing a new psych dr, who started me on several new medications all at once without checking if there were interactions. These medications mixed together was a “severe risk” combination of medications that could lead to death. Because of this, I was diagnosed with serotonin syndrome twice back to back. Because of the severity of it and how long it took to diagnose, it caused many issues to include almost losing my life twice. This has affected mostly my brain and they believe it has caused long term brain and heart damage. Also, it caused me to lose a large part of my fine motor skills, my short term memory, my balance, I have constant tremors and this is just to name a few. Because of all of this, I ended up losing the most amazing career I have ever had because my body simply gave out and this has left me unemployed for two months. With that comes me losing my health insurance, my drs and my medications and my ability to continue care for these issues. I’m drowning. I have lost all income coming into my house and I have turned to everyone I know and every organization to help me and now I have no choice but to turn to the rest of my village for help. I am asking for help so I can keep a roof over my sons head and our water, lights on and for me to continue to find a dr to help me and pay for my medications.
