Our family is going through one of the most heartbreaking and unexpected challenges of our lives.

My devoted husband and loving father was recently detained by ICE, leaving me suddenly alone to care for our young twin sons. He was the primary provider for the family, working hard every day to make sure rent was paid and food was on the table. His detention has created an immediate financial crisis for us.

I have been forced into survival mode. I am doing everything I can to stay strong for our boys, but without my husband’s income, I am struggling to cover basic necessities like rent, groceries, and utilities. The twins are confused and miss their father deeply, and I am doing my best to comfort them while carrying the weight of uncertainty on my own.
