On July 29th, an utterly devastating and unimaginable tragedy struck our dear friend Joy Kiser and her daughter Samantha. Joy lost her beloved 13 yr old son and Samantha’s brother in a heartbreaking and devastating event that took his father’s (Joy’s husband of 30 yrs and father of both Samantha and Malcom) life as well.

In addition to their overwhelming grief, they are now facing the harsh reality that there were no savings, no insurance, and a mountain of unexpected debt left behind. They have been left with nothing to help cover funeral expenses, basic living costs, or the means to start rebuilding their lives.

Joy is doing her best to stay strong for her daughter, but the road ahead is long and full of challenges. Right now they need help covering funeral costs, financial breathing room to handle daily necessities, and support to begin healing.
