At UNCG there is a elderly mother and daughter who have been in and out of Hotels and most of the times out on the street feezing at the spring garden bus stop. This mother and daughter is trying to apply for a place to live, so they need help with everything. A place to stay, food, rent, future funds for a car and much more. These are people right in front of us in our community. Everyone talks about being apart of the community and helping out the community. Well this is the literal definition of helping out the community right here. I especially ask my brothers and sisters in Christ that they would seek the Holy Spirit for direction and guidance regarding donating to these fellow believers who have struggled for a little over a year on the street. My friends, I ask that you would only give out of the kindness and conviction of your heart not because you feel like you have to in order to impress God. You can't. So just listen to the Lord and have a soft and contrite heart in this matter.
