Help a Mother and Child Escape

My story is not special. It unfortunately, is very common. A relationship filled with abuse and finally a chance to get out.

I stayed thinking, I can help him, we can make it through this but that was not true. When the abuse turned to our child, I knew we had to get out, we had to get away.

I've worked so hard to find us a new home and give her a new start. The last hurdle is getting to the new home and this is where I ask for your help.

I have a steady well paying job but it isn't enough. I have family who has supported me throughout my decision to leave and they've done their best but it isn't enough.

I'm reaching out to you, your family, your friends asking for help.
