Help Stacy After Tragic Loss of Her Son in Alcoa

Their first date was to RJs Courtyard and then on April 23, 2026, my dear friend Stacy experienced the unimaginable loss of her son, Matthew, in a tragic car accident. No parent should ever have to endure this kind of heartbreak, and right now, Stacy and her daughter Kayla are facing a pain that words can barely begin to describe. Matthew was truly one of a kind. If you knew him, you knew how special he was. He had a natural gift when it came to cars—he didn’t just like them, he understood them. Anytime someone was buying, selling, or trading a vehicle, Matthew was the one they turned to. He knew the facts, the details, everything there was to know. But his talents didn’t stop there. Matthew had a remarkable knack for technology. Whether it was a phone, computer, printer, or tablet—if something wasn’t working, he was the go-to person. Friends, family, and even friends of friends relied on him. He was always willing to help, always patient, always kind. He loved the simple, meaningful things in life—driving along the Parkway, peaceful places, taking pictures, going to the beach, and spending time doing what made him happy, like video games and being around the people he loved most. Above all else, Matthew shared an incredibly deep bond with his sister, Kayla. They weren’t just siblings—they were best friends. Kayla always said he was her baby, and the love they shared is something that will never fade. As Stacy and Kayla try to process this devastating loss, they are also facing the overwhelming financial burden that comes with it. Funeral and memorial expenses alone can be extremely costly, including services, burial or cremation, transportation, and other necessary arrangements. On top of that, Stacy will need time away from work to grieve and to begin healing, which adds additional financial strain during an already impossible time. We are asking for any support you can give—whether it’s a donation, a share, or a prayer. Every contribution will go directly toward helping Stacy and Kayla cover funeral expenses and relieve some of the financial pressure so they can focus on what truly matters: honoring Matthew’s life and supporting each other through this loss. Matthew touched so many lives with his kindness, his knowledge, and his willingness to help anyone who needed it. Let’s come together to support his family the same way he supported so many of us.
