Help a Mom with Permanent Disability and Lifelong Challenges

Unfortunately on October 5th, 2025 I was rushed to the emergency room because during evening church service, I had a seizure, and also was having stroke like symptoms totally no feeling from the waist down. They wanted me to get an X-ray of my chest so as they were trying to get an IV going, the nurse who injected me actually missed my veins not once not twice but three full doses of contrast into my arm missing my veins completely then rolled me back into my room. I instantly felt pain in my left arm, excruciating pain like my arm was on fire. I let out a painful scream, and the doctor working the emergency that night ran in and saw blister like immediate big blisters on my wrist and hand and also my arm was turning purple and swelling up so he asked if he could pray with me and then called the oncall surgeon. Surgeon came in and told me straight up if I don't do an emergency surgery you'll not only lose your arm but you could potentially die, so we did the surgery immediately. What this is called is "Compartment Syndrome" and a fasciotomy. They had to release pressure, put a tube in my arm for three days, to get out the contrast and dead blood. Most painful surgery ever. They left the wound from my palm of my hand to my elbow open for four days before performing a second surgery to close my arm back up. I don't really remember much of the first 5-6 days in the hospital but I was on lots of medicine.. Now, because of this unfortunate situation I now have blood clots in both of my legs, stemming from the surgeries, and being unable to get up out of bed, running a consistent low blood pressure, and a slue of other things that they cannot touch until I am healed from my arm which is basically a vegetable. Complete loss of nerves in my left arm. So I went to the hospital for a seizure and left with a list of new injuries. Also while I was there for 14 days I was also notified that they found sclerosis in my spine, and familia cavernous angioma in the back of my brain which has expanded in size since the seizures in 2019. Neurologist won't touch that until all of this arm stuff and blood clots have healed and cleared. They sent me home today, I don't have a shower Chair, or shower handles, bills are now all past due, we have a meal train set up, the donation someone made is now gone due to to some other unfortunate household issues that needed immediate attention and now here I am. I am a single mom, my oldest son is serving in the army prepping for his first deployment over a thousand miles away, my youngest son is still a full time student in his last yr of high school, and then he'll be headed to college to pursue his career, and I am overwhelmed with all of these things on top of not being able to properly move around in my house, I can't use my left arm at all, I can't drive, can't make any money right now, and I'm asking for any help that I can get, to release me from all of this abundance of stress. Anything helps. Nothing is too small. So if you can find it in your heart to give a few it'll be greatly appreciated and accepted. I'm making all of the necessary calls, doing all of the things legally, and it all takes so much time. I have limited energy, still have to wear pullups briefs, use a walker, and I have to be on oxygen as well. I've only been home a couple of hours and I'm already exhausted. God doesn't play about me so I know where there's a will there's a way. So please help if you can. Thank you. Funding and donations will be used for monthly expenses, bills, and financial relief for the months to come.
