Help a mom with huge legal fees help her kids

UPDATE: Thank you so much to anyone who has so generously donated to this cause. The Judge in the case has sent the kids to live with their father for a month, and Alisha has had NO CONTACT with them at all. Father has refused to allow them to contact her at all, has taken their phones, etc. She has no idea how they are or what they are doing. They may be going to Turning Points sometime soon, but she has no way of knowing that either. As you can imagine, the attorney's bills are going to increase dramatically. My name is Pam and I am starting this Go Fund Me for my best friend, Alisha. She would kill me if she knew I was doing this, but by the time she finds out, it will be up and running. She has been in the middle of a very drawn out divorce proceeding and custody battle for 4 years. She has 3 amazing kids who are happy, well adjusted, successful in school, fantastic athletes, lots of friends, just generally great kids. They have not seen their father in person in probably 3 years, with valid reason. Their father has been fighting my friend hard in court, and this week the judge in their case issued an Order granting him full custody and mandating that the kids go to Turning Points in NY, a "reunification camp." The kids would not go, because they were scared to get out of the car to go with their dad, who they have seen punch their mom in the face.

But her legal bills have become exorbitant. She is fighting so hard for her kids, but there is only so much money in her pocket. Her lawyers expect to spend a ton of time fighting this moving forward. She needs help. Please consider helping this mom protect her kids.
