My ex and father of my 8 month old baby tried to murder me and failed. I have been in the hospital for 3 weeks recovering from being stabbed repeatedly in the neck and having a tracheostomy to survive. My injuries were so serious I was flown to a neighboring state with better hospitals. My state insurance does not cover all my medical supplies or my inability to now work for the next few months if not indefinitely. I am currently trapped at the hospital because I can not get the supplies I need in my state to be able to return home and be with my family and take care of my baby.
