Help a Mom Buy Their First Home!

My sister Katherine and her 8 year old daughter Charlotte recently relocated from California to the East Coast, looking for more opportunity and lower housing costs. A hard working single mother, Katherine has been working and living with our cousin while she saves for a home of her own. She got approved for a home loan and is actively trying to find a house she can afford.

In November, my all-grown-up baby sister turns 40! Can we help her gather a down payment on her first home? I set an ambitious goal of $20,000 so that we could help throw in on that all-important down payment. Let's help them grow strong roots!

I'm going to open this fundraiser for the month of November, and at the end, give Katherine all the money we have gathered to put towards her dream of a country cottage with her daughter. Let's get them in their new home before the snow starts to fall!
