Help a proud mom attend her sons Army graduation.
Hi, my name is Kimberly, and I’m a widowed mother reaching out with a humble heart and a mother’s deepest wish.
My son—my pride and joy—is graduating from Army basic training in just a few weeks. He’s worked so hard, shown incredible strength, and overcome so much to get where he is today. As a mom, seeing him in uniform, standing tall and proud, would mean the world to me. It's a moment I’ve dreamed of ever since he told me he wanted to serve his country.
But right now, I’m facing serious financial hardship and ongoing health issues that have made it nearly impossible to save for this trip. Between medical bills, everyday expenses, and being out of work due to health struggles, I simply can’t afford the travel costs—transportation, lodging, or even food for the trip.
I’m asking for help so I don’t have to miss one of the most important days of my son’s life. Any amount you can give will go directly toward helping me get there to cheer him on, hug him, and tell him how proud I am in person. No mother should have to miss her child’s graduation because of money.
Thank you for reading, for sharing, and for giving if you can. Your kindness would mean more than I can ever express.
With gratitude,
Kimberly
