I work as an interpreter and have been supporting a mom through some very difficult times. When I first met this woman, she was pregnant — and soon we found out she was expecting twins.

Her partner was back in his home country, having left her alone in the U.S. with their young children, ages 5 and 6. She had suffered abuse from him and had been living in a family shelter after the abuse.

Despite these challenges, she has been fighting to keep her family safe and together. We worked hard to find resources and funds to prevent her eviction, but unfortunately, she was recently evicted from her home, with her 4 kids.

She has an upcoming asylum appointment and is now trying to obtain a U visa to secure protection and a fresh start.

This family urgently needs support for housing, basic necessities, and rebuilding their lives. Your donation, no matter the amount, will go directly to help her and her children during this critical time.
