A Fresh Start for a Mom & Her Son

Hi everyone,

My name is Naomi, and I’m reaching out with a hopeful and grateful heart. After experiencing homelessness, my sister and her son have finally been approved for a government housing subsidy — a huge step toward stability. They’re so close to having a place of their own, but we need help with the final steps to make this dream a reality.

We’re raising $2800 to cover their move-in expenses, including a security deposit, basic furniture like beds, and essential household items. After spending time without stable housing, they had to leave most of their belongings behind and are truly starting from scratch.

All my sister wants is to give her little boy a safe, comfortable space to grow, play, and feel secure — a home where he can rest peacefully at night and know he’s safe.

I’m also incredibly proud to share that she is in recovery and 8 months sober. Every day, she’s working hard to stay on track — for herself and for her son. This move is more than just a change of address; it’s a major step forward in rebuilding their lives.
