My name is David Teran, and I currently function as one of the ministers/pastors at the Spider Lake Church in Hayward, WI.

One of the roles I serve in is as the overseer of our missions efforts and support. One of our missionaries is in great need of prayers and financial help as he is going through a few major medical issues and doesn’t have the resources, as you can see in some of the pictures. They work to support themselves, but they’re in a place where jobs and opportunities are scarce. They are faithful workers and devoted ministers, and they dedicate their lives to spreading the word of God and preaching the gospel in spite of their lack of tools and finances. They walk for miles in the jungle heat, rain, mud, etc. These brothers and sisters are so worth praying for and supporting.

We’re reaching out with an urgent plea for help on behalf of our devoted missionary Cyrus in Liberia, West Africa. Cyrus has selflessly dedicated his life to serving others — sharing the Gospel, supporting local communities, and providing hope and help where it’s needed most.

Now, he is the one in desperate need of help.

Cyrus is facing severe and life-impacting health issues, including:

Painful gastrointestinal ulcers that make daily life difficult and can lead to serious complications if not properly treated.

Serious spinal issues causing chronic pain and mobility problems — possibly related to a slipped disc or degenerative spinal condition. Without proper diagnostics and treatment, these issues will only worsen.

Due to the limited medical infrastructure in Liberia and the high cost of quality healthcare, Cyrus is unable to access the treatment he urgently needs. He is in constant pain, and his ability to continue his ministry and daily life is rapidly declining.

We are raising funds to cover:

Diagnostic tests and consultations

Medications and ulcer treatment

Spinal imaging (MRI) and potential surgery or therapy

Transportation to medical centers (possibly outside of Liberia)

Follow-up care and recovery costs
