Help a minister fund his ordination
Donation protected
Hello! My name is John Bloom-Ramirez, and I graduated from Meadvilled Lombard Theological School in 2018. I was tasked with continuing my formation after graduation by doing spiritual direction (think spiritual counseling for ministers), IDI - Intercultural Development Coaching, plus it was strongly suggested that I complete a Clinical Pastoral Education Residency as a chaplain, which I did during 2020/2021 - at the height of the pandemic.
I humbly completed all this work, and was invited into Preliminary Fellowship by my ministers' association. I have given a lot of myself to my ministry, and the last thing left for me to do at this time is to complete my ordination service. In our denomination, ordination is ultimately confired by the congregation, as it is our polity. I have secured the support of my home congregation (the Untarian Universalist Church in Anaheim) and my internship congregation (Tapestry: a Unitarian Universalist Congregation). Both churches graciously donated funds for this service, and I matched them. I'm still falling short.
Normally this would not be an issue, but our family has had a lot of setbacks financially this year. I personally and humbly ask for your assistance in helping me have this ordination service so I can continue my work as a minister, chaplain and officiant. I am grateful for any assistance provided!
