Hi guys, I am reaching out on behalf of a very close family friend, a hardworking, single-income military family who’s fallen on incredibly hard times. The kind of people who would give you the shirt of their backs if you needed it but would never ask for anything in return.
Nearly two years ago, their vehicle’s engine blew due to faulty head bolts, which are part of a known recall. At the time, the car was still under warranty, and the dealership even informed the warranty company that the engine needed to be replaced.
But instead of honoring that, the dealership began requiring them to fix a long list of unrelated issues before they’d agree to replace the engine. This has led to a heartbreaking cycle of costs, delays, and broken promises.
They’ve already paid over $3,000 for repairs that were supposed to “fix the problem,” only to be told something else was wrong. Now, they’re being asked for another $4,500 for the next round of repairs, with no guarantee it will solve the issue—or that the engine will ever be replaced.
To make matters worse, the car is still not drivable. It’s overheating, leaking oil, and has been sitting for almost two years while they’ve continued making monthly payments on it—without being able to use it.
This family has done everything right. They’ve worked tirelessly. They’ve asked for help. They’ve followed the dealership’s recommendations. But now they’re at a breaking point—and they need us.
Please consider donating to help ease their burden. Your support will go toward:
• Covering the remaining repairs required by the dealership
• Helping them get reliable transportation again
• Easing the financial strain of two years of car payments on a non-functioning vehicle
Anything you can give—no matter how small—would mean the world. If you can’t donate, please consider sharing this campaign to help spread the word.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for standing with this military family. They would never ask for a dime which is why I have stepped up to help ease the financial burden
