Hi everyone,

My name is Mohammad Hamouda, and I’m a medical intern from Gaza. I studied Medicine at Zagazig University in Egypt, and I have dedicated the past several years of my life to becoming a doctor — to help others and make a difference in my community.

Unfortunately, during my fifth year of medical school, the war in Gaza changed everything. My family’s home was completely destroyed, and I lost many beloved family members. Despite the pain and loss, I refused to give up on my dream of becoming a doctor.

Now, I’m in my internship year, the final step before receiving my degree.

However, I still owe the university 13,500$ in tuition fees, which I must pay to receive my certificate and officially graduate. Without it, I cannot continue my medical career or pursue further training.

During the war, my family was displaced from our home and had to seek refuge in Egypt. Becoming refugees placed a heavy emotional and financial burden on all of us.

I’ve tried every possible way to cover these fees, but with my family’s situation and the ongoing crisis in Gaza, it has become impossible for me to pay this amount on my own.

I am asking for your kindness and support to help me complete my journey — not just for myself, but for my family and the people I hope to serve as a doctor.
