Help A Meal Prep Catering Company Survive

A little over 5 years ago, I set out to change and feed the way our community eats in

the South Fulton area of Atlanta, GA. Along with my business partner, Chef

Genia Williams, we started Fat Sisters. Why Fat Sisters, you ask?

Well, the name is inspired by a Bible verse found in Psalms 92:14:

“They shall still bring forth fruit in old age. They

shall be fat flourishing.”

We were inspired by this verse and felt that the name Fat Sisters would represent prosperous women and men learning to eat and cook healthy food our way...with FLAVOR!

Personally, I have faced a lot of health challenges. These challenges include fighting Crohn's Disease for over 10 years (now in remission, praise God!), being a Breast Cancer Survivor, and presently fighting chronic kidney disease.

Going through each of these experiences has taught me that certain foods can be the causes of illnesses, which means that we can take charge of our health by how we cook and eat our food. These personal experiences are why I am on a mission to feed families and children the Fat Sisters way.

COVID threw all of us all sorts of challenges, and thankfully Fat Sisters was able to pivot and serve the families of Atlanta. Currently, the food industry for a small business like ours often feels like a survival game. We need your help so that we can continue investing in and feeding the families of our community.
