Today, our community has an opportunity to come together for one of our own.
A hardworking Manchester family has lost their home and nearly everything they own in a devastating structure fire in the center of town. While we are incredibly grateful that everyone made it out safely, the road ahead will be long. In a matter of moments, they lost the place they called home and the belongings that represented years of hard work and memories.
The family has requested that their identities remain private during this incredibly difficult time, but Mom, Dad, and the Middle-Schooler at Equinox Valley Middle School deserve our support. We ask that our community honor that request while showing the compassion and generosity that define the Northshire.
The Northshire Community Coalition is built on the belief that strong communities care for one another. Through our Freedom Team, we bring together people from every cross-section of our community—neighbors, volunteers, educators, business owners, faith leaders, first responders, civic organizations, and community partners—to help connect individuals and families experiencing tragedy with the resources, services, and support they need to begin recovering.
Because the family has requested anonymity, the Northshire Community Coalition will receive and administer all donations on their behalf. Every dollar raised through this fundraiser will be distributed directly to the family to assist with immediate needs such as temporary housing, clothing, household essentials, school supplies, transportation, and other critical expenses as they begin the difficult process of rebuilding their lives.
