Help a man who would do the same

Can we all come together to help? I ask because my brother is back in the hospital for the second time in a month. Back on February 19th he went to the ER for severe abdominal pain. Come to find out he had appendicitis. The doctors went in to do a routine appendectomy and couldn’t complete the removal of his appendix due to the amount of infection in John’s stomach cavity. Doctors said he had an abcess that ruptured and walled itself off on his colon which in turn inflamed his colon and surgery could not be completed. They placed a drain instead. He stayed in the hospital for a week and was told that there was a 50% chance of him getting sick again but he would have to heal completely before they could go back in and remove the appendix. Fast forward 3 weeks John was finally feeling better and had decided to come see me here in Missouri for his birthday. On March 9th he was back in the ER with the same problems but was sent home and told to watch for fever. That fever never went away and March 12th he was readmitted to the hospital here in Springfield and another drain was placed and he will be in the hospital until he is stable enough to return home.
John and his wife financially prepared the best they could but their funds are beginning to run low. John has already been out of work for a month with the first go around. He will be out of work for another 4 weeks or so and if they are able to remove his appendix you can tack on a few more weeks to that. He has health insurance but doesn’t have disability insurance.
Many of you know John and his servants heart. You know that he would bend over backwards if it meant it would put a smile on your face or ease your pain. This is why I come to you because now he and his family need our help. Can we please ease this financial burden that has inevitably become an issue for them? Thank you!
