Help a Loving Mom & Her 3 Sons Rebuild After Losing Everything in a Fire

On August 5th, our family’s world was turned upside down when my mom’s home caught fire. In a matter of minutes the house filled with the deepest black smoke, everything she and her 3 youngest sons owned was gone — clothes, furniture, pictures, keepsakes, belongings of all her grandchildren that come over regularly and of course the many memories built over the years. By the grace of God, everyone made it out safely, but now they are left with nothing but the clothes on their backs.

My mom is the strongest, most selfless woman I know. A single mother of 8 children and an amazing Grandma to 12 beautiful grandkids that miss coming over to Grandmas house! My mom has spent her life giving to others — whether it was opening her home to someone in need, making sure her kids never went without, or lending a hand to friends, neighbors, or even giving a stranger her last. She has always put others before herself, even when she didn’t have much to give.

Now, she’s the one who needs help. My mom and my younger brothers have nowhere to call home and are starting completely from scratch. They need clothing, food, household items, and most importantly, the means to rebuild their lives.
