Help a Loving Mom and Daughter Avoid Eviction

I have the pleasure of knowing a mom and daughter who light up a room, love hard, and would give the clothes off their back for those they love. I am starting this fundraiser for this dear friend and community member as she is facing a crisis.

Single parenting is tricky for anyone, and single parenting in a difficult economy while facing mental and physical health struggles is not for the faint of heart. After being taken to housing court this month, this wonderful mom and friend is facing eviction/homelessness for herself and her daughter if she can’t produce a couple of months' rent, and after a variety of setbacks the past couple of months, it seems unlikely that she’ll be able to make this happen without significant support, and she has exhausted most of her family and government supports.

This mom works hard and does her best to access resources available to her, and anything that you can give to support her would be incredible.

She has food and childcare taken care of, and we’d be open to any suggestions for community resources for rent and utility assistance. Please feel free to message me any and all ideas!
