Help A Loving Grandfather Fight Esophageal Cancer

Hello friends, family, and kind-hearted strangers,

We’re reaching out on behalf of our beloved father and grandfather, Leonel Angulo, a 55-year-old man whose world revolves around his family his three children and three precious grandchildren. He’s the kind of man who always puts others first, who lights up every room with his sense of humor, and who has never hesitated to help someone in need. Now, he's the one who needs our help.

Just recently, our lives were turned upside down when he was diagnosed with esophageal cancer, a frightening and aggressive illness. Doctors discovered a cancerous tumor located between his stomach and esophagus, and they’ve advised that he undergo emergency surgery within the week to try and remove it before it spreads.

This surgery is incredibly serious and difficult, with many risks involved, but we remain hopeful. If all goes well, it may be enough to remove the tumor and stop the cancer in its tracks. After surgery he will face a long road to recovery and possibly further treatments but we know he has the strength and spirit to fight.

Unfortunately, this fight comes with a financial burden that our family simply can’t shoulder alone. Between hospital stays, travel, medications, time off work, and ongoing care, the costs are quickly adding up. That’s why we’re humbly asking for your help.

Every dollar raised will go directly to supporting him through surgery, recovery, and whatever medical care comes next.
