Help a Loving Family of 5 Through Medical Crisis

Donation protected
We are the Perry Family. We are reaching out for some help after struggling with health issues and now recently being faced with a heartbreaking crisis. We are unable to work for a time due to these conditions.

Emma Moon Perry is 20 years old. She lives with her Mother (Miranda), Father (George) and two younger sisters, (Samantha and Fiona). She loves reading, writing, creating art and spending time with friends and family. She brings smiles and joy wherever she goes. She aspires to be a writer, a foster parent and to help people in some way that makes a difference.
Emma was hit by a car on the corner of Hilliard and Madison while on her scooter in a crosswalk with the right of way. She was taken to Metro by ambulance and spent 3 days there. The side of her face was hit and horribly swollen. She has a broken wrist, a fractured hip and road rash in multiple areas. She can only walk short distances at the moment with assistance and the use of a cane. She will need surgery on her wrist and ongoing physical therapy 2 - 3 times a week. She will need constant care and cannot be left alone. We need to be with her at this time.
Despite this traumatic experience, Emma has been brave and is determined to have a full recovery. She says this happening to her at only 20 years old has shown her how strong she actually is to get through tough times and pain. She feels lucky to have survived and can't wait to take full advantage of life after her recovery.

George, Emma's father, is a dedicated family man who's hobbies would include board gaming, grilling and spending time at home. He has developed debilitating ankle pain making him unable to walk some days. We are in the process of finding a diagnosis and possible treatment for this. Until we can figure out what is wrong, working most days for him is impossible.

Miranda is a loving mother who enjoys spending time with her daughters, playing guitar and board games. Miranda became ill some months ago and had surgery for internal bleeding and has struggled to build and keep proper blood counts since, making working and every day tasks very difficult and hindering in recovery. She recently underwent another procedure this week and will need recovery time.
She also needs to take some time to care for Emma during her recovery.

We are looking for some help with bills, rent, and medical supplies for the next couple months so we can all heal and recover as a family. All money donated will go directly towards these monthly expenses. Any extra will be set aside for the next months bills/rent. Anything after that will be applied to the accumulating medical bills. We are hoping to return to work full time as soon as possible, but with these medical conditions and injuries we don't know when that will happen.

The people in the Lakewood Community have been very supportive in gifting us a shower bench, bathroom equipment and sending their love and positive energy for Emma. We are very appreciative of all support at this time. We also wanted to take this chance to thank a wonderful woman named Tia, that was on scene when Emma was hit. She pulled her to safety, stayed by her side the whole time to make sure she felt safe, called her mother, (which allowed her to arrive in time to get in the ambulance with her), and just so happened to be a doctor. We don't know who you are, but we are forever grateful to you for your actions and care. Thank you.
