Dear friends,

I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of two close friends — a loving couple who recently lost their jobs in local and federal government due to the massive wave of layoffs in Washington, DC. Out of respect for their privacy, their names will not be shared, but I can assure you this campaign is real and deeply needed.

They are hardworking, responsible, and actively searching for new opportunities every day. Unfortunately, the DC job market is oversaturated, and finding stable work has been very challenging.

In the meantime, they urgently need help to cover their most basic expenses: rent, utilities, and food. Without support, they risk losing their home and stability while they continue their job search.
