We’re reaching out on behalf of a sweet, elderly woman whose loyal companion was recently taken to the pound after an unfortunate and unintentional incident. Her dog, who has been her best friend and emotional support, accidentally bit her during a moment of confusion or fear — not out of aggression, but a simple accident. Sadly, because of the bite, the authorities had no choice but to remove him and place him in the pound for evaluation. This dog means the world to her. He’s not just a pet — he’s family, and the bond they share is deep and irreplaceable. Being separated has taken a huge emotional toll on her, and the costs associated with getting him back (including fees, evaluations, and any fines) are overwhelming, especially on a fixed income. We’re hoping to raise funds to cover the pound release fees, any required training or evaluations, and to help ensure this never happens again — with proper support, education, and care.

It will be $440.00 to get him back due to his paw getting amputated.
