Early one morning, I found a dog outside, cold and shaking. He wasn’t ours, but it was clear he needed help. My first thought was to find his owner, so I spent hours walking the neighborhood, posting online, and asking around, but no one came forward. Wanting to make sure he was safe, I took him to the adoption center where his microchip was registered. The staff there are now caring for him and doing their best to locate his family.

During the time he was with me, I covered all his immediate needs—food, treats, a leash, and transportation as I searched for his home. I also paid for blood and heart tests to make sure he was healthy, and covered his intake fee at the center. It’s been a journey, but I wanted to do everything possible to give this sweet dog a chance at a better life.
