I am writing this on behalf of one of my favorite students. H. is a graduating senior who has a big smile and big heart - always positive, always willing to learn and wise beyond his years.

Working in an urban, highly diverse, high poverty school district, immigration patrol has come to town. H. and his family have been affected. Life has turned upside down in an instant. Where H. was getting ready to play soccer for a local college, continuing his love of languages (already fluent in 3, working on his 4th), and to begin his studies in architectural design (which I have heard about for the last 4 years), he is now faced with working full time to support his siblings, put food on the table, pay rent and upcoming school supplies, as well as legal aid that is needed to get through this situation.

Any and all donations will go directly to H. and his siblings to fund their immediate needs and hopefully continue to provide a glimmer of hope for H. to get back to his college dreams. Thank you!
