Help a local police hero K9 Nash: Support His Medical Care

Update: 8/12:
Another update:
Vet called and said Nash has a tear in his bladder. They are wanting to do surgery today to repair the tear and also neuter him which they think will help with the prostate issue that he has. Without the surgery, he will basically be poisoning himself. They said the surgery will be an additional $6000.
We are asking and pleading that you share his go fund me so that Nash can have the surgery that he deserves. He has been such a fighter throughout this whole process and the last thing we want to do is to give up on him when he hasn’t given up himself, just because of money.

Update 8/8:
Update on our big boy. The neurologist called to tell us that Nash has a really rare form of infection of his prostate. He will have a CT scan to rule out any masses and cancer lesions. He had an abscess on his prostate that has ruptured which has caused a spinal infection, which is why he cannot walk. They are treating him with two really strong antibiotics in hopes that it will treat the infection. If those anabiotic’s do not work, we have to wait five days until his culture can come back and then get him on the correct anabiotic. Please pray that these two antibiotics that they have chosen will treat his infection, and he will be able to walk again. He will be staying tonight and maybe tomorrow night at the ER vet so that they can monitor him. We ask that you pray for guidance for the doctors and for Nash to be the strong boy that we know that he is and to pull through this, we are so thankful for everyone who has prayed, sent well wishes and donated. Nash is a big part of our family and we could not imagine losing him so soon in his life.

Update 8/7:
Nash will be spending the night at the emergency vet in Matthews. He will undergo a MRI in the morning and then possibly surgery. His current bill is $5,000 plus an additional $4,000+ for surgery and after care. We are asking for prayers that God will see fit that our boy has many more years with our family. If you find it in your heart to donate we would be so appreciative.
