Help a local nurse after husband's tragic accident

Anna Wroblewski is a local nurse at St. Joseph's Healthcare, located here in Hamilton. ON. Anna and her husband, Peter recently took a vacation, however instead of returning home after a relaxing vacation, their trip took a tragic turn. Anna's husband was involved in a motor vehicle accident and was found unconscious and badly injured on the side of the road.

Peter subsequently suffered extensive injuries, and was in a coma for several days following the accident. He has since been left with long-lasting debilitating injuries. The family has endured several years of difficult times when Anna was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2016. Thankfully, after a lengthy recovery process, she has recently regained the strength to return to her job she loves so much. This vacation was supposed to be the family's trip together since her recovery. Instead, it has resulted in more pain and suffering for Anna and her family.

As a member of the team on 4 Chest at St. Joseph's hospital, Anna is not only treasured as our co-worker, but also as our family. We wanted to start a Go Fund Me page to help raise funds to allow Peter to begin proper treatment in their hometown, and provide some financial assistance associated with his recovery and subsequent costs.
