Help a Local Hero with Medical Expenses

My name is Connie Tatom, I am simply, a good friend of the Clapp Family.

Kevin Clapp of Granbury, Tx has been with the Granbury Police Department for 18 years. In the last several months, he has been transported to the hospital numerous times with severe abdominal pain. He has spent several weeks in the hospital undergoing excruciating tests. The doctors have diagnosed him with Acute Chronic Pancreatitis, but have also stated there are other issues going on that have not been diagnosed yet, that are contributing to his continuing pain and not being able to keep food down.

Kevin’s wife, Tonya, has been with the Ft. Worth Police Department for 20 years, they have a daughter, Ashley who is currently serving in the USAF, and a daughter, Allison who is currently living and working in Florida. All of them have used all their available time off to be with and take care of Kevin.

They have met their insurance caps for 2021, but have amassed enormous medical bills, but in January all the expenses will start over again. Both Kevin and Tonya have been unable to work for several months, due to his illness and caring for him, with no projected timeline for being able to return to work. At this time, Kevin is unable to eat or drink, so he is being fed through an IV which Tonya has had to learn to administer.

This is a community serving family that has never asked for help from anyone. Therefore, I am asking that if you can, donate anything possible to help this beautiful family with medical expenses, monthly bills that never stop coming, and to just help take a little of the stress off this family in a very difficult period of their life. These people have spent decades Serving, Protecting and being with the citizens of their communities in some of the worst times of their lives. Could we please, work together to help this deserving family get through one of the worst periods of their life.
