There is going to be a hard road ahead for this innocent little boy who didn't ask for this. And if you can help please do. Give a dollar, five whatever you can spare. As a adult decade later still recovering from the effects of suicide. Could you imagine being a child and dealing with it

Out of respect for the group and her family, I will not include the name of the group or of my recently lost friend at this time. Everyone who knows me knows my story about suicide. Two days ago, the first stranger to reach out to me when my first husband took his life decided to take her own. She drove to Columbus three days after I lost my husband from Virginia to sit with me for a few hours. She didn't even know me. She introduced me to the group (I won't mention their name), but every week since she has sent me a supportive quote and we talk at least two to three times a month on the phone. She has been different the last two years and didn't reach out as much, but the quotes never stopped. And the calls and texts remained upbeat when we had them. No one knew.

Now there is a husband and little boy who has lost a mother figure and will lose his own mother soon. (Long story). The boy wasn't hers but belonged to her second husband. And now his biological mother has cancer and was admitted to the hospital last night. They say three weeks tops. So we are asking for donations not just for my friend but also the biological mother of the boy. He will need a lot of therapy and support to get through this. Although my friend increased her life insurance policy, she didn't read the fine print. Suicide was not covered. I know everyone can't afford to give, but a prayer is just as important as a quarter, maybe even more powerful. I'm sending this to everyone but please don't feel the need to apologize if you can't give money, give your prayers.
