Donation protected

update:

Update: The initial foster was unable to provide all of the care that this sweet puppy needed. The initial foster spent nearly $1600 to save the dogs life (receipts above) and handed over to wake county shelter (see picture for id 257178).
currently, original foster and others are trying to find a rescue to rescue him and provide him with the surgery needed. Any donations will pay back the original donor and anything over will go to the rescue or organization that can help him.
My spouse saw a limping dog in the woods nearly two weeks ago. Last week, I saw the dog limping myself when I was outside grilling. Since the sighting, I started various means on social media (Reddit, Ring, Facebook, Instagram) to help locate this poor dog. I've spent countless hours searching in the woods, hoping to rescue this sweet puppy. Several generous individuals have come forward to help with the search and provide food to the dog. Yesterday, I was fortunate enough to find and capture him. A good friend of mine was able to take him to the vet on his own dollar to provide care for this young dog (1-2 years old). It appears his leg is broken/fractured and may require surgery or amputation. He was severely malnourished and is currently being cared for. I'm unsure of what the medical bills will amount to but wanted to raise money for my friend to provide the necessary care and help find him a good home.
