Hi friends, strangers, and fellow victims of student loans.

I’ve had a job and worked ever since I was 12 years old, graduated undergrad from Texas A&M University, served as an ICU nurse during COVID in Austin, and then spent January 2022–December 2024 surviving CRNA school. I came out the other side with a doctorate, a career I love… and a truly impressive amount of student loan debt.

I’m still paying off my nursing school loans while also paying for my doctorate, which means I’ll be best friends with my loan servicer for the next 9 years.

My husband and I are also expecting our first baby at the end of February — something we intentionally waited to do until my schooling was finished. Worth it? Absolutely. Expensive? Also yes.

I fully expect most people to scroll past this — and that’s completely okay. But...if a famous actor can ask the internet for help with rent, I figured I’d shoot my shot too!!
