Help a Life Coach, whom helped so many students.

A bit about me.

My name is Curtis Foley. I am 76 years old. Working as a Life Coach with. University students has been the most pleasant and fulfilling experience one could imagine. I live in the Southwestern United States where I have been working with college kids to achieve their academic goals, and ultimately success in their lives and futures.

For the last 2 decades, while charged with such an important task I have remained a diligent and steadfast ally for dozens of young adults and their parents whom are both seeking to navigate their college experience and academic growth more successfully. So many families are able to say their student made it through those tough college years because of the intensive one on one help that I have been able to provide for their student. The journey to achieving one’s education can be quite tumultuous with so many different aspects of the students life changing so abruptly when going to college. We have found that it is in the students best interest to have a dedicated liaison to success which is what I had become for so many families.

What Occurred

In 2019 and 2020 the Covid-19 pandemic began its reign of terror on the world, and overall life as we know it. The college campuses once brimming with students in need of help now lay empty as the students were forced into online forums and sent home. Just like that there was no more students! I did as many of you and quarantined as I followed all of the lockdown procedures suggested by our government.

In my old age I have developed an array of medical issues that range from diabetes and high blood pressure, to more serious findings in the last months as well. I try my best to take care of myself, and my health is definitely a priority. I suffered through the pandemic and lost my way of life with the students because of being in several high risk categories and deciding it best to follow the protocol being suggested.

I have just been able to keep afloat by the modest savings I had in place for emergency which have now all been drained. With no way to tell I would be getting sicker after the pandemic as well as incurring several other major blows to my finances, I attempted to pour myself into some one on one with troubled youth in my area. I did this until my car, which is my only means of transportation was stolen and totaled by one of the very people I tried to help.

Once my vehicle was gone I had no way to go out and do anything to make money. The theft was still something I may have been able to recover from had there  been students to work with, but with how things had become I just ended up falling behind on my rent with no vehicle. After 25 years renting where I live, I now face eviction and am forced fo try to figure out maneuvering a vehicle and a new place to reside in the next month. By September as I turn 77, I shall also be forced to move and have no way to financially accomplish the move or the vehicle at the same time. Both of these are essential to my survival and at this point I have to make the most humble request , that you might help me by donating to my emergency situation.

I am asking for this donation of $10,000 to get a vehicle and make first month rent and deposit at a new place as well as navigate some medical costs I have recently accrued.Where I have been able to help so many , I now need your help and am so thankful of the fact there is a forum like this to allow the people I have helped to see my needs and donate as their heart dictates. Thank you for your help.
